The 2nd Biennial National Conference on “Advances in Stem Cell Research and Cell Based Therapy with Emphasis on Orthopaedic, Dermatological and Dental Applications” was held at K. S. Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA), Deralakatteon 22-23December, 2017. This conference was jointly organized by Nitte University Centre for Stem Cell Research & Regenerative Medicine (NUCSReM) and Department of Orthopaedics, KSHEMA.
Guest Lecture
Nitte University Centre for Stem Cell Research & Regenerative Medicine(NUCSReM) arranged a guest lecture on Friday, 4thNovember 2016 by Prof. Polani B. Seshagiri, Department of Molecular Reproduction, Development and Genetics, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Dr. Seshagiri delivered a lecture on “Pluripotent stem cells: Perspectives and prospects”.

Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) arranged a guest lecture on Tuesday 30thJanuary 2018 at KSHEMA. Dr. M. Prakash Hande, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore delivered a lecture on “Role of telomeres in ageing and cancer”.
